.....This fictional story is based on the true story of a young girl shot to death, on the entrance to the Al-Aqsa mosque, and Israeli occupiers let her bleed to death. I tried to find the real person I based this fictional story on, but there were too many young girls killed by the israelis. Therefore I decided to choose Hanan Khadour, as her age matched my fictional story. May all the beautiful souls of thousands of the Palestinians killed at the prime of their life rest in peace.

Samia was walking like she was over the clouds..... She was so overwhelmed with love.... Her entire being has become consumed with Ali's tought....this morning when she went to meet him at the university .... He asked her to marry him..... This was first time ever he brought up this issue..... How wonderful.... Even thinking about living the rest of their lives toghter was so unbelievably joyful.... She couldn't help but smile since their meeting few hours ago..... He said... To her, his concern about what is going on regarding al-Aqsa mosque.... the reason..... He was worried about her going to mosque for her daily prayers..... Could you not go next few days, please?..... She looked at his beautiful expressive eyes..... God .... How much she loved him.... She blushed at the tought of wanting to kiss him right there.... Instead she shyly and playfully avoided his intense piercing eyes staring at her..... 

She gently touch his shoulder..... & squeezed .... I will be ok Ali.... It is nothing to worry.... I am a girl ... They are usually easier on us....he touched her hand.... Promise you don't go inn if you see too dangerous??..... She felt her heart going to jump out of her chest....just touch of his hand and looking in his eyes was enough to make her happiest person on earth...... He mumbled... I love you samia.... I want us to get married..... Maybe get out of here.... Go to Jordan or some where.... Where we can live safe..... She looked at his eyes again .... He seemed so serious.... It was as he had given it a long thought and wanted her to know..... How serious he was about their future..... She smiled.... Ok, I promise ... Now I got to go to my class .... I see you tomorrow ok?.... Can you call me after your lunch time prayer.... When you return from the mosque?...... She laughed .... Why suddenly you seem so concern??.....don't worry.... . Sorry...he mumbled again... I am not sure why I worry about this today??.... I just had a very weird dream last night.... But you are right ...forget about it.... But call me any ways....will you?.... He forced an smile as to make her happy..... They said goodbye ... It was hard to let her go..... Their eyes glued in each other's again..... Than, Samia gently turn and walked a way..... She could feel Ali eyes on her back..... She could feel him..... Since than she has been walking on the could nine..... He ask me to marry him.... Wow.... Her heart was pounding in her chest with joy...... On her way to her school she noticed a wedding boutique.... Normally she never paid attention..... But this morning he briefly paused looking at the dress on the maniqan .... She whispered no too flashy .... Not her style..... She wanted some thing simple.... But elegant.... She smiled.... How foolish ... She is already thinking about the dress..... What if her parent won't agree.... But she dismissed this tought right away..... Her parents adored Ali .... He was engineering student .... Hard working with big dreams..... He always avoid going around border just in case getting cut in to a fight and get killed.... He felt as these young boys throwing stone are not very smart..... Because Isra-hell as he called it...have crazy soldiers.... They love to shoot and harass and kill for no reason..... So why give them an excuse?.....He believed the fight needs to be planned and strategic in order to succeed..... He didn't like the Palestinian leadership calling them idiots..... She smiled thinking about him.... How smart he was..... Her classes finished fast.... It was hard for her to focus .... She find herself in daydreams.... She has her name next to his last name.... It looked so perfect..... She wondered how many kids they are going to have..... She felt so dreamy.... Her friend asked what was she smiling for?..... She told her how Ali had proposed??.... Her friend gave her a huge and congratulated her.... Did you guys have set a date!!..... She smiled no silly..... It wasn't a serious proposal..... It was just to tell me he worries about me going to al-Aqssa mosque at lunch.... He wanted to make sure I am not harmed....

... Mmmmm not sure if that is a good idea.... I heard on the news that the tensions are high and they don't let youth between 22-40 to get there.... Well? Since I am only 18....& a girl ...so I have nothing to worry about right?...... True.. But be careful... Ok?

She said goodbye by to her friend and walked toward mosque.... It was about 3 miles and it took her about 30-40 minutes walk.... She loved to walk.... October was beautiful month.... & she loved streets of West Bank..... Crowded... Full of noise.... & that was exactly why she loved it... It was so Full of live..... She kept thinking about Ali.... Remembering his hand on her shoulder.....& how their hands touched..... How his touch of hand send shiver through her spine and all the way to her toes...makes her entire body shivering .... Like an electrical wire passed through her..... She felt so happy..... So content... Oh.... Life is so beautiful.....The walk was done so quickly.....she didn't even notice the unusual huge crowd..... Nor did she noticed the soldiers with their gun fading her..... One was so close to her she froze .....if Her Islamic hijab was not covering her face..... The soldiers probably would have noticed her red flushed face..... Stop the soldier screamed..... Holding his gun right at her face..... She did not realize the severity of the situation kept walking forward..... STOP.!!!!! He ordered....

. But why? ... She ask, I have nothing ... Look.... She opened her berqua to show him her hands....... As soon as she moved her hands up..... He fired several round of shuts..... Samia.... Fell down.... Her vision seemed blurry..... She still seemed not sure of what just happened.... Only that she is fell on the ground and felt as she was soaked..... Suddenly she felt as life was moving away.... Slipping out of her body.. ...... Everything seemes so weird..... so blurry.....why am I so cold...... She could only see Ali 's eyes staring at her lovingly ..... She smiled..... She loved his eyes so much..... Than she was gone....unconscious .... The crowed gathered few feet away..... Other soldiers acted as nothing happened..... Screams and shouting were increasing from the angry crowd of the Palestinians on the other other side of the Mosque..... Call ambulance you bastards..... You criminals..... You are terrorists live our home.......Stones keep falling over...., soldier oblivious to Samia's body.... Kicked her body with his foot to see if she is still alive..... Not that he cared.... He just wanted to make sure there was no danger from her..... These scum bags subhumans..... The news media camera flushes disturbing his eyesand reporters taking picture annoyed him even more disturbing...... Shit heads!!!... They now take picture of everything..... Who gives dam??? No one watch their news except themselves. Any ways....... Additionally He can always use the same line and justify killing of these piece of shits.... He can tell them, he felt threatened for his life.....& assumed she was going to kill him with the knife.... Yap that sound good reason..... Even though if she didn't have any knifes.... It didn't matter.... his friends at the settlers quarter be happy to testify anything, if he asked them to..... They loved to see all Palestinians dead..... Many came from America so they can kick these backward out of their God given land.....

The news was all over.tv screens live..... Ali was some how feeling anxiety for no reason..... It was 1 pm and samia hasn't call him yet....& was not answering her phone.... Which was very unusual..... He decided to head over to Al-Aqsa mosque ... While walking he notice huge crowed watching a television screen in a clothing store.... He ask what was going on..... The guy without taking his eye off the screen..... Responded..... The bastards shut a young girl and they are not getting ambulance to take her to the hospital ..... So ..They are letting her bleed to death.....

...What? ..... Ali felt as the whole street started turning upside down ..... His legs suddenly gave in.... He fell on the floor with big thundering loud sound..... At the sound the man turn to see what is happening.... Notice Ali' s pale face on the floor.... Help....he screamed.... Can someone help me here?.....there is a guy fainted here..... Please .....Few people run over .... Someone showed up with glass of water and pored over.... Ali open his eyes..... You ok? The guy asked..... Yes .... I guess.... He murmured weakly ...suddenly seat up right..... Tell me please..... What... What happened to the girl on tv screen ....

Why don't you go to her home and get update?..... Another volunteered.... I be happy to give you ride with my car ..... It is parked at the end of this street I can run and get it.... You stay here I get my car and take you over..... The crowed started to disperse..... He leaned against the wall and closed his eyes..... Please God.... Let her be alive..... I will dedicate my life to give half of all I make for the rest of my life to charity..... I help in every possible way to all who need help..... Please God let her be ok.... The car stopped and the driver reached over and opened the door.... Get in here..... He thankfully but almost absentmindedly sat in his car and give him the direction.... As they got closer to the street where Samia lived..... There were hundreds of people..... Screaming death to Israel..... At this time he knew she was dead..... He was too familiar with this types of scenery..... Seen it too often..... To know what it meant.....The driver wasn't sure what to say..... He put his hand at his shoulder ....were just few short hours ago ....Samia had place her hand and squeezed.it.... Now she was all but gone....gone..... For ever.... No that can't be.... This is all just a bad dream..... It must be..... It was just few hours ago..... He purposed her to be his wife...... From now and for ever..... Now and forever was gone..... How could this be???......no more now and forever..... No!!!!!!...... She screamed inside....looked helplessly at the driver .... Whispered thank you and moved out..... Walked toward the house..... Pushing his way through the crowed..... It was as he was walking in a total out of body experience..... It was as suddenly he felt completely numb..... It was as all this was simply a dream..... Or rather a nightmare...... An Out of body experience.... How could that be real???..... At this time Samia's mother noticed Ali ..... Seeing him .... Made her screaming and crying more ..... Can you believe it Ali.... Can you.... They shut her and let her bled to death..... Like a street dog..... Can you? ...... My Samia.... She loved you so much Ali..... I wanted to see her married to you..... Than she faced the sky...... Where are you God..... It must be all a lie..... There is no God ..... How could there be a god and let Israel kill my Samia and all our young beautiful kids and get away with?..... What kind of God would do such a thing?..... What kind of world would allow this..... This killers kill and kill.... & get away..... How could they.?....How Ali.?... How..... She kept hitting her chest and veiling..... Ali moved a way.... Again totally as in dream ..... At first slowly and than as soon as he was away from the crowd.... He start running...... Kept running toward border.... He got there in less than 20 minutes..... There were crowed of 20 -30 young 18-22 years old..... Angrily throwing stones to the soldiers...... Angery due to the news of an 18 yeas old girl shot and left bleeding to death .... Spreader all over......it was said ...Because she refused to stop entering the mosque for her noon prayers......she was killed..... Ali asked for stones..... They handed him few and toled him not to get too close..... He took the stones ...... Walked forward..... Without any hesitation in his determined steps..... The crowed froze..... Few screamed don't go too close..... They are going to kill you..... Ali kept walking .... When felt close enough and felt he could hit them good he started to throw the stones right at the face of one of them..... Scream of pain filed the air..... Son of a bitch.... He aimed the gun at him and shot toward him but missed.... It don't hit Ali .... It just passed next to his ear...... He kept walking .... Kept throwing stones..... To each soldier.... Somehow they kept missing to shoot him.... After few times.... one soldier jumpy behind his jeep.... Turned and pushed on gas diving toward him..... Ali saw him coming but kept throwing stones..... The car hit him and crashed him to the ground....spilling blood all over.....his body Crushed......but his bloody face looked as there was a serene smile.... Painted on Ali face...his eyes looking toward ...the sky....... It was as he was seeing Samia's face waving at him..... She had her white bridal dress on..... Same one she saw earlier today at the bridal store..... She waved at him.... Until he reached him..... She holed his hands walking toward a light......staring a life of eternity togher..... For ever .....as husband and wife!..... Life was beautiful after all..... Only if their parents were with them.....
